Since its Launch in 2017, Abiola Olusola the brand has gained traction by critics and consumers alike. Named as one of Guardian Life’s “One to watch” 2018.

Abiola Olusola is dedicated to show casing and working with local African crafts men and women to create and highlight ways in which traditional fabrics and ethos can be part of contemporary living. She is motivated by empowering artisans, producing with sustainability and waste management in mind, carefully crafting each item of clothing from fabric to finished product and pushing the African narrative forward through fashion.

Cynthia Abila is an eponymous brand created by Cynthia Otiyo-Abila founded in 2016. Cynthia Abila is passionate about African cultures and storytelling. She interprets these wonderful traditions through her pieces by reinventing them as modern silhouettes made for the traveling woman.

Based in Nigeria, the brand inspires locally, designs, sources and produces materials by engaging artisans across the country. The brand’s influences are rooted in the tribal ways of the South-South and Southeast Nigeria. They promote local production and the preservation of centuries old techniques of hand-made fabric production. In doing so, the brand also provides vital work opportunities and essential training to local communities.
